About the event
Each year, Heroic Food hosts Farm Squad. On our mentor farms, we offer interested veterans a chance to learn from the best in the business, including educators at our partner Cornell Cooperative Extensions. Each year is a new theme, with a hands-on component to every topic covered. This year's Farm Squad covers niche products from farm-to-table. Veteran participants will learn about how to turn honey, maple, milk, and currant berries into a profitable and fulfilling business. Soukup Farms, Sprout Creek Farm, and Walnut Grove Farm (CurrantC) are our gracious hosts and instructors.
